Walking Hadrian’s Wall was as beautiful and as relaxing as I could hope for. Great to have everything arranged and working out fine without having to worry about a place to eat or sleep. Routes are clear and overnight stays are all welcoming and comfortable with hearty breakfasts. The only downside: it always ends too soon!!

All overnight stays are comfortable and welcoming, nice people, delicious breakfasts. After a long day of walking all you wish for is a good bed in a nice room with a warm shower. I found that every single night and most of the time a lot more than that, like nice company, a beautiful view from my bedroom etc.

Great walking trail from north Glasgow to Fort William. Lucky to have had good weather and great accommodation arranged for me with baggage transferred. I added an extra night in Fort William to give me the opportunity to climb Ben Nevis.

Mickledore are a great company to use when booking your UK based walking holidays. They have lots of knowledge and experience and are easy to talk to. I managed to get all my accommodation on the route and was very happy with all the places I stayed at. This is the first time I have used them as I have only just developed an interest in long distance trails and will definitely be using them again. A really great 8 days walking the Cotswold way. starting at Chipping Campden in the north and ending at Bath. Although some of the stages were quite long, the walk passed through some beautiful villages with lots of great scenery along the way. There were plenty of interesting sites along the way – old churches, neolithic long barrows, iron age hill forts and hill top towers. All really interesting and really satisfying to look back at the end of each day’s walk and think – did I really come all this way?
