We walked from the source of the Thames at Kemble through to Marlow. Was during the heatwave so very hot, but we made it! Good accommodation throughout, though a couple were a long way from the trail after a days walk when closer options were clearly available. Path is well maintained and easy to follow, but with a couple of significant detours approaching Henley and Marlow that are somewhat tedious!

Our 9th or so walk with Mickledore. Always easy to deal with, efficient in booking and provide very good service. Our only gripe this time was the distance we had to walk from the trail to our accomodation on 2 days, and on one of these there was no option for an evening meal without a taxi both ways. Also disappointing that Mickledore did not respond to my email about these on return. So room for improvement on this front.

The Fife Coastal Path was a fabulous walk and provided a wonderful array of golden beaches, pretty harbours and villages and was relatively flat. The highlight was seeing a highland cow on the beach in one of the coastal conservation grazing areas. We would highly recommend Mickkedore.

We have used Mickkedore for the last 12 years and they are absolutely brilliant in all respects. This year we walked the Fife Coastal Path, having completed 14 of their planned walks in the past. Their website provides a very helpful and accurate description of their walks and is always very helpful when we decide which walk and for how many days to take. The information provided ( accommodation, maps, books, facilities on route, recommendations for food ….) customer service, transporting of luggage, quality of accommodation is first class!
